So I recently started messing with Clip because the software has gotten better and I had the desire to do more painting. Now, my biggest drawback is that I'm still rocking the same computer I've had for many moons. I'm kind of a creature of habit, you see. So far the limitations of this machine haven't exceeded my patience and well... if it ain't broke...
I do hope to get a new machine at some point. But not now.
Anyway. Sketches below were done with various brushes, mostly from the Frenden pack. Which is aweome. Fave brush so far is Consistent Carl because it's just god damn consistent.
Nice. I think we talked before about the sub model PS is using just isn't for me. I think you can still buy PS Elements outright? Bah. Clip looks good, Krita looks good too.
ReplyDeleteThe most I ever do is some pixel art for hobby video games, or some text on a photo stuff for making my crappy book covers. So I can almost use anything, it doesn't even need layers TBH.
Many cover artists I know are branching out to other things as well. One wonders if their sub model is backfiring? Likely not, they are still doing it. I think they are entrenched in the corporate and academic world, who will pay the fee, so everyone learns it, depends on it, etc...meh, just a theory.
