ReplyDeleteI really don't know how to judge it. The funding goal was very modest, so we funded quickly and surpassed it multiple times over. Of course I've seen RPGs go for tens of thousands of dollars, and some for hundreds of thousands.
DeleteIt has already surpassed my expectations so whatever it ends up at is going to be fantastic. I just hope enough people back it to unlock some of the stretch goals. We'll see.
I dunno either. I just got done helping a friend with a kickstarter that freakin' Brandon Sanderson shouted out during his lastest kickstarter, and the attention made my friend's little kickstarter fund 10 times what she as looking for.
DeleteIt was fun, but compared to Sanderson, who just topped 40 million, it was minor.
Perspective...
I guess it comes down to things like: Are you happy? Do you feel validated? Did you make money? Are you bopping around the house like you're ten years younger than you actually are? :-)
lol. I'm too old to get that excited. I am happy, though. I am excited. It was a lot of work to create this game and it is nice to see even a small cadre of people expressing their appreciation.
