This issue features a 15 page OSR style play book. These are more-or-less the rules I have adopted for my own game. They harken back to older versions of the game, such as B/X, riffing on Labyrinth Lord, The Black Hack, and Swords & Wizardry... but with some "modernisms" such as ascending armor class.
Oh, and new classes to boot. And tons of meatshield NPCs. Boom.
What are the plans for Black Pudding? How many issues? Maybe a combined print edition of all the issues? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI will keep doing them until I run out of ideas or get too busy with other things. No planned end game. I do have ideas for some sort of combined volume in hardback, through Lulu or something. But not finalized yet.
DeleteAre even single issues available in print anywhere? Or do you have to get them on DriveThruRPG and print out yourself? thanks.

These are printed at very high quality somewhere in the fabled island queendom of England. I'm not kidding when I say high quality. They did a fantastic job with the printing.
Thanks. I'll have to see what shipping costs are, I'm in the USA.

ReplyDeleteHey, I know this is an old entry but I had a question about the thief class you've done. For thief skills it says d20 va ST score. What is the ST score?
ReplyDeleteSaving Throw, which is found on the Thief's class table.
