Mobon

Years ago I did a comic book called Pan-Gea. The book was published by Ape Entertainment as that company got up and running. It was a good one, I think. I followed it up with another Pan-Gea comic called 7 Arrows. These are all available at my website.

Anyway, in the spirit of #finishit, here is another Pan-Gea tale that has been lying around for about 10 years. It isn't my best work but it's a succinct little tale and I might as well put it out there into the world.

The character has a name but I choose not to utter it. She goes way, way back for me. She was my first serious D&D character.

Enjoy. And finish your projects, you lazy bastards.

  2. Now I'm reading all your comics! Great stuff! you should combine your love for rpg's and Awesome art and story telling talents and make a comic about a D&D band based on your Class and Rule options! You could even call it Doomslakers! I kick arse at finding other people tons more work to do!

    Love your stuff man!

    1. Thank you, that's super awesome to hear! I have definitely toyed with a Doomslakers comic. But I don't know if/when it will happen as a real thing. Comics are hard work! Hah.

  3. Whoa, a new(kind of) Pan-Gea comic isn't something I expected to see anytime soon, but it's certainly very welcome. Now I'm interested in this character, sounds like there's a lot of history behind her.

    1. Yeah. She was my first real D&D PC that I identified with and followed as a character. I think she was a thief-acrobat because I had borrowed Unearthed Arcana from a buddy. But later she was also a druid or something. She had "nekodes" or claws that were magical because I also owned Bushido.

    1. Well, this particular one isn't in print. But most of the Pan-Gea stuff is in the Pan-Gea comic. I have some copies left if you are interested in getting one. Just email me.

  6. Love that take on a cursed item. Don't know why but I've always thought of evil wizards cursing things because they were jerks.

    1. Well, technically speaking, evil wizards ARE jerks. But they also may have reasons, good or bad. hah
